Kyndryl Finalizes Acquisition of Healthcare IT Leaders
Kyndryl has officially closed its acquisition of Healthcare IT Leaders, a strategic move valued at up to $350 million. The deal aims to bolster the infrastructure services giant's presence in the medical sector by integrating specialized clinical and operational expertise into its existing artificial intelligence and modernization platforms.

The transaction, initially announced in August, combines Healthcare IT Leaders' consulting depth with Kyndryl’s global enterprise scale. By absorbing the firm, Kyndryl intends to provide hospitals and health systems with a unified provider capable of managing complex, highly regulated technology environments ranging from clinical applications to workforce management systems.
Financially, the acquisition accounted for roughly 1% of Kyndryl's fiscal 2026 revenue. While the company maintains its current fiscal 2027 outlook, it has opted to temporarily pause its share repurchase program to preserve capital liquidity. This decision aligns with the firm's broader strategy of prioritizing investments in growth initiatives while maintaining its investment-grade financial standing.
