TransPerfect Expands Legal Tech Infrastructure into Saudi Arabia
To meet rising demand for data sovereignty, TransPerfect Legal has launched a specialized eDiscovery hub in Riyadh. By integrating Relativity, Reef Discovery, and Brainspace, the firm now enables local processing, analysis, and review of sensitive legal data, marking a significant step for the region's digital and regulatory landscape.
The Riyadh-based facility, which builds upon the company’s office established in November 2025, provides a local infrastructure for organizations navigating litigation, arbitration, and complex regulatory inquiries. By keeping data within the Kingdom, the firm aligns with Saudi Arabia's broader push toward sovereign data management and AI-enabled infrastructure.
Karim Makhani, General Manager for TransPerfect KSA, noted that clients increasingly demand world-class technology delivered locally by experts familiar with regional nuances. TransPerfect President and Co-CEO Phil Shawe emphasized that the expansion addresses the strategic importance of the Saudi market, with plans already in motion to increase project management resources in Riyadh to support operations across the wider GCC region.
