Nikon Expands 2026 Creator Tour to Five Additional U.S. Cities

After hosting over 1,300 attendees during the first half of the year, Nikon is extending its creator-focused tour into the fall. Starting September 25 in Dallas, the free, hands-on event series will move through Nashville, the Baltimore-Washington corridor, Philadelphia, and Boston, offering workshops and gear access to local photographers and filmmakers.

The tour structure builds on the success of its initial run by maintaining dedicated programming days. Participants can choose between "Intro to Photography" sessions for beginners, "NIKKOR Z Lens Day" for those looking to test optics, and "ZR Day" for cinema creators focusing on video capabilities. Kristen Pritchett, Marketing Events & Experiential Manager at Nikon Inc., noted that the events aim to foster community connections while providing creators space to push their technical boundaries.

Each stop features a bright yellow custom-branded SUV acting as a central hub for demonstrations. Beyond gear testing, Nikon has partnered with SanDisk to provide memory cards for content creation during ZR Days, allowing attendees to upload their work to the cloud. The upcoming leg introduces new instructors to the rotation, including Nikon Ambassadors Brandon Woelfel and Mike Mezeul, alongside creator Rick Southers. Registration for the Dallas sessions at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is currently open via the company's event calendar.
