HawkEye 360 Opens Luxembourg Subsidiary to Deepen European Defense Ties
HawkEye 360, a specialist in space-based radio frequency data, has launched its first European subsidiary in Luxembourg. The move signals a strategic shift to embed the company within the EU defense ecosystem, aiming to provide sovereign nations and regional industry partners with direct access to its intelligence and analytics capabilities.

The expansion was formalized in Paris during World Space Business Week, where CEO John Serafini met with U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg Stacey Feinberg. By establishing a local entity, the Virginia-based firm intends to move beyond remote support, creating a foundation for direct collaboration with European government programs and private sector defense manufacturers.
For HawkEye 360, the Luxembourg base serves as a gateway to participate in the region's hardening security landscape. The company provides an RF-based layer of situational awareness that complements sovereign systems, allowing defense organizations to geolocate and characterize electronic emissions. Ambassador Feinberg noted that the move highlights Luxembourg’s growing influence as a hub for aerospace and defense technology. According to COO Todd Probert, the subsidiary will prioritize integrating HawkEye 360’s proven data with local technologies, ensuring that European customers can operationalize advanced signal intelligence to meet emerging mission requirements.
