Japanese Cat Litter Brand ZuttoNyan Launches in the U.S.
Japanese pet care brand ZuttoNyan has officially brought its mixed-material cat litter to the U.S. market, targeting American households with a focus on high-performance clumping and minimalist design. The company, which has built its reputation on proprietary material blends, is now selling its products via Amazon and TikTok Shop.

The brand, whose name blends the Japanese words for "forever" and "meow," seeks to differentiate its offerings by abandoning single-material formulas in favor of combinations like tofu and cassava. These mixtures are engineered to solve persistent litter-box issues, specifically targeting dust reduction, clumping speed, and odor management. By balancing natural ingredients with modern processing, the company claims its litter provides a cleaner, more efficient maintenance experience for pet owners.
Beyond technical performance, ZuttoNyan has garnered attention for its aesthetic approach, receiving a Silver Award from the London Design Awards for its packaging. This design philosophy emphasizes that pet supplies should blend into modern home environments rather than standing out as clutter. As the brand expands its international footprint, it plans to invest further in research-backed development to address the evolving needs of the domestic pet-care market.
