LAZ Parking Launches Leadership Shift and North American Expansion
LAZ Parking, North America’s largest privately owned mobility firm, is launching a major growth initiative dubbed "LAZ 3.0" that includes the creation of 1,000 new jobs and a significant expansion of its Hartford headquarters. The strategy centers on a new leadership continuity model designed to bridge the gap between founders and successors.

Starting January 1, 2027, Tony DiPaolo and John Svendblad will assume the roles of Co-Chief Executive Officers. This transition marks a departure from traditional succession planning, as the company seeks to retain the expertise of its four founding partners—Alan Lazowski, Jeff Karp, Michael Harth, and Mike Kuziak—who will move into a newly formed Diamond Advisory Council alongside CFO Nathan Owen. These five leaders have pledged to remain active within the organization through 2032.
The firm plans to bolster its presence across the continent by hiring for roles in electric vehicle infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and autonomous vehicle support. To support this, the Hartford corporate office will add 100 new positions across finance, marketing, and data analytics. According to Alan Lazowski, the move is intended to ensure that the company’s internal culture and values remain intact while the business scales its operations across 44 U.S. states and eight Canadian provinces.
