Highway Holdings Secures March Deadline for Nasdaq Compliance
Hong Kong-based manufacturer Highway Holdings has been granted a second 180-day grace period by Nasdaq to address its sub-dollar share price. The extension permits the company to maintain its listing through March 15, 2027, provided it can demonstrate consistent recovery in its market valuation.

The exchange’s decision follows confirmation that Highway Holdings meets all other listing criteria for the Nasdaq Capital Market, including the required market value for publicly held shares. To exit the deficiency status, the company must see its common stock trade at a closing bid price of at least $1.00 for ten consecutive business days before the new deadline. Management has signaled that a reverse stock split remains a potential mechanism to reach this threshold if market performance alone proves insufficient.
While the company continues operations across its manufacturing hubs in Germany, Myanmar, and China, the path to full compliance remains subject to broader economic and competitive pressures. Highway Holdings acknowledged that no guarantee exists for meeting the minimum bid requirement, noting that its future standing depends on maintaining adherence to all ongoing Nasdaq listing standards.
