Power Metallic Extends Lion Deposit Depth by 25% With High-Grade Copper

The summer 2026 exploration program marks a shift toward testing the vertical continuity of the Lion zone, which sits within the company's broader Nisk project in Canada. Hole PML-26-125 represents the deepest assay result for the deposit to date, far exceeding the 610-meter depth of the previous core intercept. The intersection of massive to semi-massive copper sulphides at this depth confirms that the mineralization remains open and continues to hold high-grade material.

Additional drilling has provided further evidence of the system's depth. Hole PML-26-121a, targeting the western side of the deposit at 650 meters, returned 7.7 meters of 3.28% copper equivalent. Meanwhile, hole PML-26-128 reached nearly 900 meters vertical depth, revealing disseminated and massive copper veinlets, with official assay results currently pending. CEO Terry Lynch stated that the results demonstrate both increased depth and higher grades, noting that the project's near-surface mineralization combined with deep-seated expansion potential enhances its economic profile. The company expects to continue its multi-faceted exploration strategy through 2027.
