A2Gold Hits High-Grade Antimony and Silver at Taylor Project
A2Gold Corp. has identified shallow, high-grade antimony-gold mineralization 170 metres north of the historical Merrimac Mine in Nevada, according to initial drilling results from the Taylor Silver-Gold Project. The findings, which include 20.96 g/t gold equivalent over 1.5 metres, suggest the mineralized system extends well beyond previously known boundaries.

The company’s first four reverse circulation drill holes at the site have returned significant multi-metal intercepts. Beyond the antimony-gold discovery, testing within the historical silver footprint yielded substantial results, including 209.4 g/t silver over 10.7 metres from surface in hole TAR-004. These intercepts confirm that silver mineralization persists and remains open for further exploration.
CEO Peter Gianulis noted that the current data represents only a small fraction of the project's potential. The company is now integrating these findings with historical records as it awaits assays from another 11 holes. The Taylor Project, which contains historical silver resources, is also being evaluated for deeper CRD, skarn, and porphyry-style targets that have not yet undergone modern drill testing.
