Stacy Chevalier Tapped to Lead New American Funding Northwest Expansion
With over 26 years of mortgage banking experience, Stacy Chevalier has been promoted to northwest regional vice president at New American Funding. Effective September 1, she is tasked with driving the lender's growth strategy across five states, including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska, to bolster its regional market presence.

Chevalier, who joined the Santa Ana-based firm as an area manager in January 2026, will oversee team development and branch expansion. Her new mandate focuses on identifying emerging market opportunities and providing direct support to mortgage professionals within the Pacific Northwest. Tony Blodgett, executive vice president of national retail sales for the West, noted that Chevalier’s deep local market knowledge provides the leadership balance necessary to scale the company’s regional footprint.
Reflecting on her transition, Chevalier emphasized a culture-first approach to management. She intends to prioritize an environment centered on shared opportunities and professional growth rather than pure volume. The company currently maintains a servicing portfolio valued at $73 billion, and Chevalier plans to leverage this financial scale alongside an entrepreneurial strategy to compete more aggressively in the region.
