Monetary Metals Secures $10.5 Million to Expand Gold Yield Platform
Scottsdale-based Monetary Metals surpassed its $10 million financing goal, securing $10.5 million in a fresh equity round. The influx of capital arrives as the firm, which enables investors to earn interest on physical gold holdings, sustains an exponential growth trajectory and ranks among the top 8% of the 2026 Inc. 5000 list.

The company, founded in 2012 by economist Keith Weiner, facilitates gold leasing for jewelers and refiners, effectively transforming gold from a stagnant store of value into a productive, income-generating asset. This latest funding round, supported by both returning shareholders and new strategic investors, brings the firm’s total capital raised to nearly $25 million.
Weiner noted that the investment signals broader market validation for his firm’s gold-denominated fixed income model. By connecting gold owners with precious metals businesses seeking more efficient financing than traditional banking channels, the company has more than doubled its deployed gold volume over the past year. The additional capital is earmarked for further scaling of the Gold Yield Marketplace, aiming to broaden the reach of its yield-generating infrastructure for global clients.
