Seager Co. and Benchmade Launch Western-Inspired Knife Collection
California-based Seager Co. and Oregon’s Benchmade Knife Company have debuted a collaborative collection, blending rugged Western aesthetics with high-end American manufacturing. The limited-edition release reimagines two of Benchmade’s classic blade designs, incorporating premium materials like stabilized wood and copper accents to honor the heritage of the American West.
The partnership centers on the 203-2601 Dacian fixed blade and the 940-2602 Osborne folding knife, both customized with Seager’s signature teal G10 accents and copper hardware. Mattson Smith, co-CEO of Seager, noted that the collaboration focuses on gear built to last, emphasizing a shared commitment to domestic production and the stories behind everyday tools. Joe Prebich, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Benchmade, described the project as a natural alignment of values regarding purpose-driven design.
Production is strictly limited, with 500 units of the 203-2601 Dacian priced at $350 and 700 units of the 940-2602 Osborne at $325. The collection also includes a waxed canvas trucker hat, limited to 1,100 pieces for $40. The items are available through the official websites of both brands and at select SCHEELS locations.
