Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena Digitizes Operations with Oracle Cloud

To manage the intense logistical demands of the UK’s largest entertainment venue, Co-op Live is deploying Oracle Simphony Cloud and NetSuite. By bridging the gap between point-of-sale transactions and back-office financial accounting, the arena aims to accelerate service speeds while sharpening its inventory and budgeting precision across the Etihad Campus.

The integration allows Co-op Live to unify data from its bars, premium lounges, and self-service kiosks. By linking real-time product demand with NetSuite’s financial management tools, the venue’s operators gain a clear view of performance metrics, simplifying the reconciliation process during the high-pressure windows when thousands of fans arrive simultaneously.

Guy Dunstan, senior vice president and general manager at Co-op Live, noted that the venue was built to rely on best-in-class technology to maintain the fan experience. With performers ranging from Harry Styles to Paul McCartney, the arena must process massive transaction volumes without sacrificing efficiency. Oracle’s platform provides the intelligence needed to pivot inventory levels and staffing based on live sales data, ensuring the 23,500-capacity space remains both responsive and profitable.
