Global Cocktail Rankings: The 50 Best Bars Unveils 51-100 List
Thirty-four cities across the globe are represented in the latest extended ranking of the world’s top bars. Two weeks before the final 2026 awards ceremony in Milan, the list of venues ranked 51 through 100 highlights a diverse surge of innovation in the international hospitality industry.
The 2026 expansion introduces 13 new entries to the list, with first-time representation from cities including Accra, Dublin, Istanbul, San José, and Shenzhen. Europe leads the geographical breakdown with 18 featured venues, while Asia follows closely with 16, including four establishments based in Hong Kong. The United States remains the most represented individual territory for the fourth consecutive year, claiming five spots across Chicago, New Orleans, and New York.
Compiled by an academy of over 800 industry experts, the ranking serves as a barometer for current trends in cocktail culture. Notable newcomers include Goa’s Boilermaker at No. 57, Mexico City’s Form + Matter at No. 59, and Dublin’s Bar 1661 at No. 98. Faye Huggett, Director of Community for The 50 Best Bars, noted that the extended list is designed to acknowledge exceptional venues that push the boundaries of creativity and hospitality beyond the top 50. The complete rankings for the top 50 will be revealed live from Milan on October 7, 2026.
