DRB Group to Launch Dual Mortgage Joint Ventures in 2027
By January 2027, Gaithersburg-based DRB Group will launch two distinct mortgage joint ventures, partnering with Acrisure Mortgage for eastern markets and Alta Home Lending for the west. The initiative aims to integrate the homebuilder’s financing process directly into its sales cycle to minimize friction from contract to closing.

The strategy centers on aligning the company’s homebuilding brands, DRB Homes and DRB Elevate 55+, with specialized financial partners. According to Ronny Salameh, President and CEO of DRB Group, the move is designed to pair high-quality construction with a transparent, execution-focused mortgage experience. The company’s leadership maintains that these ventures will allow sales consultants and loan officers to operate as a single unit, identifying financing solutions for buyers at the earliest stages of the homebuying journey.
Matthew Wolf, the senior vice president of Financial Services tasked with leading the strategy, conducted a search for partners capable of delivering consistent service across the company’s national footprint. Wolf emphasized that the selection process prioritized firms with deep local market knowledge and proven operational strength. By embedding these mortgage services into the core business, DRB Group expects to see higher conversion rates and a more cohesive experience for customers navigating the transition from contract to final closing.
