Mosaic Company Shuffles Leadership as Karen Swager Prepares to Retire

Precourt brings fifteen years of company experience to the new role. Since joining in 2009, he has directed the firm’s phosphate and potash divisions, alongside stints leading human resources, procurement, and global business services. His appointment arrives as CEO Bruce Bodine seeks to stabilize operations amidst difficult business conditions. Precourt will retain oversight of the Environmental, Health and Safety functions while operating from the company's Tampa executive headquarters.

Swager ends a tenure spanning more than three decades, having risen through the ranks to lead the potash business and supply chain before moving into the executive vice president role in 2023. She will remain with the organization as a senior advisor until her formal retirement in the second quarter of 2027. Bodine credited her with driving long-term improvements in safety and operational efficiency across the company’s global sites.
