Target Maintains Dividend Streak Into Final Quarter of 2026
Target Corporation will pay a dividend of $1.16 per common share on December 1, 2026, marking the retailer’s 237th consecutive quarterly payout. Shareholders on record by the close of business on November 11 will be eligible for the distribution, continuing a tradition that dates back to the company’s 1967 public offering.

The Minneapolis-based retailer confirmed the declaration following a board of directors meeting this week. This latest payout reinforces the firm’s long-standing policy of returning capital to investors, a practice maintained without interruption for nearly six decades. Target currently operates more than 2,000 stores across the United States, supported by a workforce of 400,000 employees. The company continues to balance its physical footprint with an expanding digital presence, aiming to sustain its market position as it heads into the final fiscal period of the year.
