AARP Services has added three new benefits and a major home warranty enhancement to its member portfolio, aiming to streamline costs for older adults. The expansion targets household transitions, communication needs, and healthcare accessibility, providing direct discounts on moving, telecommunications, and appliance repair services across the United States.
The new offerings include AARP Moving Services provided by All My Sons Moving & Storage, which grants members a 10% discount on standard moves alongside a dedicated concierge and satisfaction guarantee. In the hearing health sector, the organization has partnered with Soundly to provide members with free hearing exams, local provider consultations, and a 60-day trial period on prescription hearing aids.
For connectivity, the group introduced SpeakEasy, a wireless brand by Consumer Cellular tailored for users 75 and older, offering plans starting at $14.95 per month. Additionally, American Home Shield has updated its home warranty program, allowing members to save up to $225 on coverage for major household systems and appliances. These programs operate through third-party providers that pay royalty fees to AARP, which the organization uses to fund its general operations and advocacy initiatives.
