Lars Pedersen Joins Paratus Energy Board as Skindlo Departs
Thirty-five years of maritime leadership arrives at Paratus Energy Services today as the company reshuffles its board. Lars Pedersen, a veteran executive with deep roots in Frontline Management and BW Group, replaces outgoing director Dag Skindlo, who is stepping down to prioritize his existing executive commitments.
Pedersen brings a specialized background in global fleet operations and digital transformation to the Bermuda-based firm. During his eight-year tenure at Frontline Management AS, he oversaw complex technical strategies, ESG initiatives, and large-scale shipbuilding programs across South Korea and China. His resume includes senior roles at A.P. Moller–Maersk and Höegh, alongside current board positions at Northern Ocean and Archer.
The transition coincides with a period of operational focus for Paratus. The company currently holds a 50% interest in Seagems, which manages a fleet of six multi-purpose pipe-laying support vessels under active contracts in Brazil. The board aims to leverage Pedersen’s expertise in mergers, acquisitions, and artificial intelligence to navigate the company's ongoing investment strategy.
