Save Brings Market-Linked Cash Management to Schwab Marketplace
Independent advisors and family offices now have a new route to bridge the gap between liquidity and yield. Houston-based fintech firm Save has integrated its Market Savings program into the Schwab Marketplace, allowing high-net-worth clients to maintain bank-account access to their cash while seeking returns tied to market benchmarks.

The platform functions by keeping client principal in FDIC-insured bank accounts while deploying proprietary investment technology to provide exposure to ETFs tracking the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and gold. Because the deposited cash is not directly invested, clients retain same-day liquidity—a critical requirement for family offices and institutional investors managing large, dormant balances. According to company data, accounts linked to the S&P 500 have averaged 7.5% annually over the past three years.
For advisors, the addition to the Schwab Marketplace simplifies access to a tool that competes with traditional money market accounts. Sean O’Hara, co-founder of Pacer ETFs, noted that the firm moved its own operating cash into the program after seeing its ability to provide market-linked upside without sacrificing safety. While the program offers a departure from the low yields typically associated with standard cash management, Save emphasizes that the investment component is not bank-guaranteed and carries the potential for volatility.
