H.I.G. Capital Acquires UK Fulfilment Specialist Torque
Global investment firm H.I.G. Capital has completed the acquisition of Torque Holdings Limited, a UK-based provider of omni-channel supply chain services. The deal, finalized in London, keeps the existing management team in place to drive the company’s next phase of domestic and international expansion.

Torque manages a extensive network of fulfilment sites across the UK, offering warehousing, inventory management, and international freight forwarding for premium consumer brands. By partnering with H.I.G., which manages $75 billion in capital, the company aims to scale its operations through increased warehouse capacity and the integration of new logistics technology.
Stewart Firth, CEO of Torque, stated that the partnership aligns with the company’s three-decade commitment to complex supply chain solutions. Adam Taylor, Managing Director at H.I.G.’s London office, noted that the acquisition fits the firm's strategy of backing high-quality middle-market businesses with the intent to accelerate growth through both organic development and potential M&A activity.
