MassChallenge Designates Dallas as Second U.S. Headquarters

The renewed partnership builds upon five years of collaboration at Pegasus Park, a campus that has become the epicenter for the region’s scientific growth. Since 2022, Texas-based applications to MassChallenge programs have increased more than fivefold, signaling a rapid shift in the local startup landscape. The new funding will support two ten-week accelerator tracks focused on Health & Life Sciences and Security & Resiliency, providing founders with the technical and regulatory guidance necessary to secure capital and reach market maturity.

This investment aligns with broader economic momentum in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Dallas Regional Chamber noted 14 life sciences corporate expansions in 2025, while companies supported by the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) have collectively raised over $2 billion in follow-on funding. Pegasus Park has experienced similar velocity, with the BioLabs facility reaching full capacity in just 15 months, leading to the development of the 135,000-square-foot Bridge Labs space. By providing targeted access to academic and corporate stakeholders, MassChallenge intends to ensure that scientific breakthroughs originating in Texas remain in the region to scale.
