Haynes Begins Waterfront Revamp of Plymouth's Hotel 1620

The renovation scope includes a complete overhaul of the main lobby, reception, and work lounge, alongside the addition of a micro market and pub. Haynes will also upgrade the first-floor pool cabana and fitness corridor, while extending refreshed design elements to the elevator lobbies on the third and fourth floors. Designed by the Texas-based firm Corgan, the project seeks to align the interior atmosphere with the hotel's historic harborside location.

Maintaining guest satisfaction during the construction process remains a primary challenge. Haynes plans to leverage its experience in occupied environments, utilizing phased scheduling and strict work-area security to ensure the hotel remains fully functional. Patrick Andrews, Chief Revenue Officer at Haynes, noted that the firm intends to provide a concierge-level experience for both hotel staff and guests throughout the transition. The project marks another milestone for the West Bridgewater-based company, which has been managing commercial construction projects for 25 years.
