Aapryl Integrates Nasdaq eVestment Data for Institutional Manager Analysis
Institutional investors often struggle to distinguish between genuine manager skill and simple market exposure within their vast datasets. To bridge this gap, the analytics platform Aapryl has announced a new data relationship with Nasdaq eVestment, allowing mutual subscribers to apply proprietary skill attribution and factor scoring to their existing manager research.

The integration allows users to pull Nasdaq eVestment-sourced manager products directly into the Aapryl platform. Once inside, these funds are subjected to Aapryl’s standard methodology, which includes style-adjusted benchmarks and detailed skill attribution designed to isolate security selection from tactical timing. This analytical framework aims to provide a clearer view of whether a manager’s performance is repeatable or merely a result of broader market trends.
David Andrade, General Manager at Aapryl, noted that the move helps investment teams transition from basic performance reporting to a more granular assessment of manager behavior. Daniel Brickhouse, VP and head of Nasdaq eVestment, added that the partnership offers institutional teams a way to interrogate their existing data without disrupting current research workflows. The capability is available immediately to firms maintaining subscriptions to both services.
