The honorees were celebrated at their local facilities, receiving the signature Healer’s Touch sculpture, a certificate, and a DAISY Award pin. These nurses were specifically recognized for their roles as patient advocates who support individuals through the grueling, long-term nature of dialysis treatment. Mandy Tilton, Chief Nursing Officer at U.S. Renal Care, emphasized that the strength of these providers lies in their ability to build lasting relationships with patients over months and years of care.

Beyond current recognition, the organization is funding the future of the profession through its Nightingale Program. This initiative provides prepaid tuition and career coaching to frontline staff members looking to transition into nursing roles. U.S. Renal Care currently manages dialysis services for over 37,000 patients across 32 states, maintaining a focus on high-quality outcomes as rated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
