The 2026 ranking, developed alongside Boston Consulting Group, highlights a stark American dominance in the tech sector. Of the top ten companies, eight are based in the United States, and 86 of the 120 firms listed hail from North America. China follows with 11 companies, while Canada holds three spots. These organizations were selected based on a proprietary vitality score that measures growth ambition, talent density, and corporate culture.

Following Cyera, the list includes Tempus AI and Germany-based Helsing in the second and third positions. Other notable entrants rounding out the top ten comprise Astera Labs, AST SpaceMobile, Wayve Technologies, Planet Labs PBC, Netskope, Snowflake, and CoreWeave. To qualify for consideration, public companies required a market capitalization of at least $5 billion, while private firms needed to demonstrate significant scale, either through $1 billion in funding or a workforce exceeding 20,000 employees.
