Octane Secures $1.4 Billion Forward-Flow Deal with Major Insurers
A $1.4 billion forward-flow facility has been executed by fintech firm Octane, marking the company’s largest transaction since its inception. The deal, backed by fixed-rate loans for powersports and outdoor equipment, brings together institutional heavyweights including New York Life, MetLife Investment Management, Equitable, Pacific Life, and Victory Park Capital.

New York Life Investment Management served as the lead investor and arranger for the facility, which supports loans originated by Roadrunner Financial, Octane’s in-house lender. This agreement represents the company's third such forward-flow deal announced in 2026, signaling sustained institutional appetite for its consumer assets. The capital injection follows a 37% year-over-year growth in originations during the first half of 2026, a period in which the firm surpassed $9 billion in total lifetime originations.
Beyond this new facility, Octane has bolstered its capital markets platform by securing over $6.3 billion in forward-flow and whole-loan commitments to date. The company, which recently earned the ABS Issuer of the Year title at the 2026 GlobalCapital US Securitization Awards, continues to scale its operations across the powersports, RV, and marine industries. With this latest commitment, the firm further diversifies its funding sources while expanding its partnership base to include Pacific Life and Victory Park Capital alongside returning collaborators.
