Configure One Debuts AI Platform to Automate Complex Manufacturing Quotes

Manufacturers of complex, engineered products often rely on a handful of experts to manage configuration rules and pricing, creating a bottleneck that stalls sales. Configure One, a Revalize company, is now addressing this expertise gap with a new intelligence platform designed to digitize and scale institutional product knowledge.

The platform integrates two core applications, AI Model Builder and AI Seller, which share a unified, customer-specific knowledge base. By processing technical specifications, drawings, and bills of materials, the AI Model Builder automates the creation of product models. This allows engineers to shift from manual rule-building to a review-based workflow. The AI Seller then utilizes this data to parse RFQs and generate precise, configured quotes.

Michael Umbach, Chief Product & Technology Officer at Revalize, noted that the system eliminates the traditional reliance on manual translation of specs into configuration rules. Early adopters, such as United Electric Company LP, report that development cycles previously spanning months are now being completed in days. To address security concerns, Configure One maintains single-tenant data isolation, meaning proprietary customer information is excluded from shared AI training models. While the model-building component is generally available today, the quoting application remains in beta with a full release scheduled for early 2027.
