ChainIT Launches Passwordless MPC Wallets for Web3 Organizations
Singapore-based ChainIT has moved its organizational multi-party computation wallets into production, replacing traditional passwords with biometric liveness checks. The system links a user’s verified identity to specific transaction authorities, ensuring that funds only move after an active, authorized member provides biometric approval via the ChainIT ID platform.

The new architecture, unveiled during TOKEN2049 Week, pivots away from static credentials like passphrases that are susceptible to phishing or theft. Instead, the system requires a live-person check for every transaction. When an organizational member initiates a request, a primary enclave verifies their current authorization status and matches the approval to the specific, one-time transaction parameters before execution.
Technically, the platform utilizes two-party Multi-Party Computation (MPC) signing, where cryptographic shares are held within isolated AWS Nitro Enclaves. Because the private key is never reconstructed, neither signing party can act independently. According to Jeremy Blackburn, CEO of ChainIT, this framework addresses a critical gap in the sector: the distinction between simply logging into an account and possessing the actual authority to manage corporate assets. The service is now included in organizational digital identity profiles at no additional cost, with current clients undergoing migration to the updated model.
