Disney Cruise Line to Launch 'Disney Believe' Ship in December 2027
Disney Cruise Line has announced that its newest vessel, the Disney Believe, will begin service on December 18, 2027. Departing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, the ship will feature the fleet's first stage adaptation of the film Encanto and expand the Frozen universe with a new immersive family dining experience.

The Disney Believe represents the fourth addition to the Wish class, continuing a rapid expansion that aims to bring the company's total fleet to 13 ships by 2030. Passengers can choose from four- and five-night itineraries traveling to the Caribbean and The Bahamas, with scheduled stops at Disney Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. General bookings for these voyages open on October 19, 2026.
Onboard entertainment will focus heavily on intellectual property integration. The Walt Disney Theatre will host a Broadway-style production of Encanto, featuring songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Other theatrical offerings include a reimagined version of Tangled: The Musical and the original show Disney Seas the Adventure. The ship also introduces a Zootopia-themed hub called Gazelle, which functions as a family activity space during the day and an adult-exclusive lounge at night.
Dining and accommodations follow a similar thematic approach. Oaken’s Table will debut as a Frozen-inspired family feast, while the ship’s staterooms and suites feature artwork from films such as Moana and Peter Pan. The top-tier Believe Tower Suite, located within the forward funnel, will offer nearly 2,000 square feet of space themed after the Magic Kingdom. Adults will have access to specialized venues, including the Haunted Mansion Parlor and the Beauty and the Beast-inspired Palo Steakhouse, alongside the Senses Spa and fitness facilities.
