Zone & Co Launches AgentHQ to Automate Financial ERP Workflows

Finance departments often struggle to balance autonomous AI efficiency with the rigid security requirements of an ERP system. New York-based Zone & Co is addressing this gap with the launch of AgentHQ, a management platform designed to deploy specialist AI agents that execute approved tasks directly within NetSuite.

The platform introduces over 10 specialized agents capable of performing complex financial operations, including bill matching, payment processing, and period-end closing procedures. By integrating these agents into the existing Zone Control Center, the company provides finance teams with a centralized dashboard to monitor activity, schedule background tasks, and trigger human-in-the-loop approvals for sensitive write actions. This architecture ensures that autonomous agents operate within strict, pre-defined boundaries rather than exercising unchecked access to financial records.

Billie Miric, Global Head of Product at Zone & Co, emphasized that the infrastructure focuses on containment and oversight as agents take on greater authority. The initial suite of tools includes AP Catch & Correct, which resolves invoice discrepancies, and Smart Payment Lifecycle, which automates discount identification and fraud screening. These features build upon the company’s existing 2026 AI roadmap, which already includes anomaly detection and procurement intelligence. By moving from simple reasoning to direct ERP execution, Zone & Co aims to shift the role of finance teams from manual data entry to strategic oversight, supporting a broader transition toward what the company describes as a System of Agency.
