Jaguar Uranium Quantifies Massive Potential at Argentina's Laguna Salada

Jaguar Uranium Corp. has unveiled its maiden mineral resource estimate for the Laguna Salada project in Argentina, identifying a substantial deposit of uranium and vanadium. The company reports 4.2 million pounds of indicated and 10.1 million pounds of inferred uranium resources, covering only a small fraction of the total site.

The estimate, prepared by Caracle Creek Chile SpA and Atticus Geoscience Consulting, encompasses 21.1 million tonnes of indicated material and 34 million tonnes of inferred material across the 210,284-hectare property in Chubut Province. CEO Steven Gold described the results as a landmark milestone, noting that the current footprint represents roughly 4% of the total project area, suggesting significant room for further expansion. The project’s geological profile—characterized by surficial, tabular caliche-style gravels—could potentially support low-impact, open-pit extraction methods.

With nearly $18 million in cash and no debt, the company is well-positioned to advance its exploration efforts. Immediate plans include a targeted program of infill pitting, trenching, and sonic drilling to better define the deposit's geometry. While the resource estimate marks a shift toward development, the company maintains that these findings are not yet mineral reserves and remain subject to further technical and economic validation. Full technical reports compliant with SEC Regulation S-K 1300 and NI 43-101 are expected to be filed within 45 days.
