The collaboration unites Antharis' proprietary antibody engineering and target biology expertise with Lonza’s clinically validated ADC platform. Under the agreement, Antharis gains access to dual-payload technology designed to deliver multiple therapeutic agents simultaneously, a strategy increasingly favored for its potential to tackle complex cancer biology. The initial focus is on a lead ADC program currently approaching clinical trials, which targets specific GI cancer markers.

While Antharis retains full control over research, clinical development, and commercialization, Lonza will manage the manufacturing of its proprietary linker and payload components. According to Jan Vertommen, Vice President of Commercial Development at Lonza, the agreement serves as a test case for the platform's ability to drive innovation in oncology. Raphael Ribeiro Pinaud, CEO of Antharis, described the deal as a strategic milestone that strengthens the firm's position in the competitive ADC space. Lonza stands to receive upfront payments, alongside potential clinical milestones and future royalties on net sales.
