The facility will serve as the primary hub for project incubation and technical R&D, focusing on five specific domains: ultra-fast charging architectures, cloud-based synergistic scheduling, and integrated solar-storage-charging solutions. The laboratory will also target heavy-duty megawatt charging and AI-driven predictive maintenance to minimize downtime for fleet operators.

During the signing ceremony, Evan Li, Chief Engineer of Shell E-Mobility China, and Kecheng Guo, General Manager of SINEXCEL’s EV Charging Solutions, emphasized that the collaboration is designed to bridge the gap between advanced hardware development and real-world application. By aligning product roadmaps, the two companies intend to scale these technologies to improve the reliability and speed of the global charging ecosystem.
