Visitors will find his high school football jersey, the college-era Fender acoustic guitar signed by industry icons, and the weathered wicker chair that inspired his hit "Old Blue Chair." These items, alongside handwritten chord charts and a salvaged replica of his legendary "Marley" tour mascot, illustrate a career built on a blend of traditional values and relentless, athlete-like discipline.

Kyle Young, CEO of the museum, noted that Chesney’s drive has consistently pushed the boundaries of the genre’s commercial and artistic reach. For his part, Chesney described the process of selecting these personal mementos as a challenge, hoping that the collection serves as a spark for others chasing their own ambitions. The display is included with standard museum admission, with the institution hosting supplemental programming, including a deep-dive interview with longtime producer Buddy Cannon, to mark the opening.
