Autonomique Moves Physical AI from Lab to Automotive Production Line

The collaboration, which began with a paid pilot in late 2025, utilized bi-manual wheeled robots to handle complex assembly tasks. Following successful performance benchmarks, the system is now integrating into F&P’s live production lines. This deployment serves as a precursor to a broader strategic partnership aimed at rolling out the technology across the global factory network of F&P’s parent company, F.tech.

Autonomique’s software employs a Generalist-Specialist architecture designed to navigate the limitations of traditional, fixed-task automation. By enabling robots to reason through multi-step workflows, the platform provides adaptability to changing production demands without requiring extensive retraining. Luis Mideros, General Manager at F&P Mfg., noted that the system balances the flexibility of a generalist AI with the strict precision standards required for automotive supply chains. Backed by investors including White Star Capital and industry veterans from Clearpath Robotics, Autonomique plans to scale its hardware-agnostic platform into the electronics and aerospace sectors as it seeks to define the next generation of autonomous manufacturing.
