Tez Johnson Signs Two-Year Ambassador Deal with Meters Music
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Tez Johnson has joined forces with local audio manufacturer Meters Music in a two-year brand partnership. The collaboration, which marks the company's first athlete ambassador program, aims to bridge the gap between high-fidelity sound technology and professional sports performance.

The agreement follows a broader strategic expansion by the Tampa-based firm, which secured a partnership with the Buccaneers last August to feature its branding at Raymond James Stadium. Meters Music, led by CEO Evan Rubinson, is recognized for its signature headphones and earbuds that incorporate analog VU meters into their hardware. These devices rely on Qualcomm aptX HD audio chips and offer active noise cancellation to meet the demands of a professional user base that already includes artists like Stevie Wonder and Metallica.
Johnson, a 2025 University of Oregon draftee, noted that music serves as a vital component of his pre-game preparation. The partnership will see the wide receiver feature in advertising campaigns, social media content, and various in-person activations. For the brand, the deal represents an effort to deepen its local community ties while leveraging the crossover between sports culture and high-end consumer audio aesthetics.
