DuoKey Debuts Quantum Risk Assessment Tool at VivaTech
With the NSA’s 2027 CNSA 2.0 deadline looming and threat actors actively harvesting encrypted data for future decryption, Swiss firm DuoKey has unveiled its Quantum Risk Score. The tool provides enterprises with an auditable, zero-access assessment of their cryptographic exposure to prepare for the looming post-quantum transition.

Most organizations currently lack the visibility required to navigate the shift away from RSA-2048 and ECDSA, encryption standards slated for deprecation by NIST in 2030. DuoKey’s new assessment platform addresses this by generating a composite index from 0 to 100 based on publicly observable signals, removing the need for invasive internal system access. This approach allows security teams to identify their exposure surface quickly without the friction of complex deployments.
The resulting report serves as a board-ready roadmap, mapping an organization’s status against critical regulatory frameworks including CNSA 2.0, NCSC, ANSSI, and BSI. By providing a prioritized migration matrix and a 36-month implementation plan, the service aims to turn abstract quantum threats into actionable technical tasks. The assessment is currently available to enterprises looking to align their security infrastructure with upcoming compliance mandates.
