Moeris Acquires Stay Safe Traffic Control to Bolster Southeast Presence
Denver-based Moeris has acquired Raleigh-based Stay Safe Traffic Control, marking a strategic push into the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast markets. The deal integrates the North Carolina provider into a growing national platform, while keeping its existing leadership team and regional brand identity intact to maintain local service continuity.

The acquisition adds Stay Safe Traffic Control as the fourth operating entity under the Moeris umbrella. It joins a portfolio that currently includes Colorado Barricade, Pavement Surface Control, and Richmond Traffic Control. By leveraging shared resources and safety systems, Moeris aims to scale its infrastructure services across the Rocky Mountain, Pacific Northwest, and Southeast regions without disrupting the day-to-day operations of its new subsidiary.
Tom Harper, CEO of Moeris, emphasized that the partnership focuses on preserving the local reputations that define these markets. David Chamblee, owner of Stay Safe Traffic Control, noted that the move provides the necessary capital to invest in staff and expanded capabilities. Founded in 2016, the North Carolina firm operates out of Garner and Angier, maintaining a workforce of ATSSA- and DOT-certified professionals who specialize in work zone safety.
