Bold North Roofing Extends Relief to Stranded Minnesota Rusco Clients

When Minnesota Rusco shuttered its doors last October, hundreds of Twin Cities homeowners were left with unfinished renovations and little hope of recouping lost deposits. Now, Maple Grove-based Bold North Roofing & Contracting is stepping in to bridge that gap with a new discount program aimed at those stranded by the closure.

The contractor is offering a 15% discount on all roofing, siding, window, and door projects for any former Rusco customer. To qualify, residents simply need to identify their previous relationship with the defunct company during the initial call, bypassing complex bureaucratic hurdles.

"These families already paid once for work they never received, and most of them are not getting that money back," said Erik McLaughlin, president of Bold North. "We cannot undo what happened. But we can make sure finishing the job costs less than starting over from scratch."

Beyond the price reduction, the firm is providing priority scheduling to ensure work is completed before the peak of summer, alongside flexible financing options and written on-site estimates. The program is available for both projects left abandoned by the closure and entirely new repairs. Founded by Minnesota natives McLaughlin and Ryan Emmerich, the company currently holds an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau and maintains a 4.9-star rating across more than 450 Google reviews.
