The festival's Main Competition saw Atlantic Rhapsody, directed by ZHONG Kaifeng, claim the Best Feature Film title, while Moroccan drama Halima secured both Best Director for Yassine El Idrissi and Best Actress for Khadija Amari. ZHANG Songwen took home the Best Actor award for his performance in Secret in the Box. Jury Grand Prix honors went to the Belgian entry Iluminada, directed by Nicolás Rincón Gille, and Reis Çelik earned the Best Screenplay award for Night of Blindness.

Beyond the awards, the event served as a high-profile hub for industry exchange, marked by a capacity-crowd masterclass from Tony Leung Chiu-wai. The actor emphasized the importance of subtle performance nuances that command the big screen. With 82% of its roughly 3,000 eligible entries serving as world or international premieres, the festival solidified its position as a primary launchpad for global filmmakers. As the event concludes on June 21, the focus remains on the continued growth of talent development initiatives and the cross-cultural dialogue fostered throughout the week.
