Murj Enters Australian and New Zealand Cardiac Care Markets
Cardiac device management firm Murj has launched commercial operations across Australia and New Zealand, following a debut at the CSANZ and HRS summit in Melbourne. The expansion offers regional health systems and private cardiology practices a cloud-native platform designed to consolidate data from multiple device manufacturers.

The platform supports the management of cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIED), ambulatory monitoring, and heart failure programs. By integrating clinical workflows and automating electronic health record data flows, the system aims to reduce the administrative burden on medical staff. Currently, the company’s technology is utilized by over 1,000 clinics in the United States, overseeing more than 900,000 patients.
Todd Butka, founder and CEO of Murj, stated that the move addresses the increasing volume of device data facing regional care teams. As hospitals transition from legacy, on-premises tools to modern cloud-native systems, Murj provides a centralized interface intended to streamline clinical decision-making. The company’s tools are now available to public hospital networks and private electrophysiology teams throughout both countries.
