MARS Company Launches M3 Cloud Analytics for Water Utilities
Utilities often struggle to extract actionable intelligence from localized meter testing data, leaving critical revenue and performance insights trapped at the test bench. MARS Company is addressing this operational bottleneck with its new M3 Cloud platform, a reporting layer designed to make testing metrics accessible to enterprise decision-makers.

The new software functions as an extension of the existing M3 enterprise environment rather than a replacement. By synchronizing data from on-premise testing stations, the platform allows managers and finance teams to monitor performance trends, evaluate revenue recovery opportunities, and plan maintenance cycles remotely. This approach aims to bridge the gap between physical meter testing and high-level operational strategy.
"Our goal was to help utilities get more value from the meter testing data they already collect," said CEO Dave Corey. The platform prioritizes flexible integration, accommodating specific IT and security requirements to ensure that sensitive utility data remains protected while becoming more visible to stakeholders. MARS Company plans to debut the M3 Cloud at the AWWA ACE 26 trade show in Washington, D.C., with a full release expected later this year.
