Vicuna Air Adds Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Brussels to Pet Flight Routes

Dogs flying between the United States and Northern Europe no longer face the isolation of a cargo hold. London-based Vicuna Air has expanded its shared charter service to include Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Brussels, ensuring pets remain in the cabin beside their owners on every transatlantic journey aboard Gulfstream GV aircraft.

The expansion links New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles to these key European hubs, building on existing routes to London and Paris. By offering individual seats on scheduled private jets, the company provides a middle ground between commercial travel and the high cost of chartering an entire plane. Regardless of breed or size, animals travel alongside their owners, with the company handling all necessary logistics, including USDA health certificates, EU entry requirements and customs clearance.

Jamie Everett, a former RAF pilot and founder of Vicuna Air, designed the service specifically to address the stress of international relocation. Beyond standard passenger flights, the company offers a service called Biscuit Class for pets traveling solo, managed by a dedicated concierge. Every booking includes chauffeured ground transportation at both departure and arrival points to complete the door-to-door experience.
