CNTE Debuts STAR H-MAX Energy Storage System in Munich

A 2.03-square-meter footprint houses 440kWh of capacity in the newly launched STAR H-MAX, an industrial energy storage system unveiled by Contemporary Nebula Technology Energy at Intersolar Europe 2026. The compact unit aims to tackle complex grid demands for factories and industrial parks through advanced thermal management and high-cycle battery technology.

The STAR H-MAX utilizes CATL LFP 530Ah battery cells, engineered to exceed 10,000 cycles. By offering dual configurations of 0.5P and 0.25P, the system allows operators to oscillate between high-power output and extended duration supply. Its transformer-free architecture streamlines deployment by integrating loads directly, a shift that cuts installation complexity and physical space requirements for distributed energy projects.

Reliability in extreme climates is managed via AI-driven temperature controls, keeping internal cell variances within 3°C across a range of -25°C to 55°C. For grid stability, the system features STS technology for seamless switching and frequency regulation response times under 250ms, meeting requirements for FCR and automatic frequency restoration reserves. The unit is currently certified for grid connection in 45 countries throughout Europe, Africa, and Asia, with parallel expansion capabilities reaching 4.4MWh.
