Caravel Autism Health Expands Specialized Therapy to Mount Pleasant
One in 31 children now falls on the autism spectrum, a statistic driving the demand for early intervention in southeastern Wisconsin. On June 24, Caravel Autism Health addresses this regional gap by opening a new, sensory-focused clinic at 6051 Regency West Drive, designed to provide localized Applied Behavior Analysis therapy.

The Mount Pleasant facility centers on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a method endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC for its focus on positive reinforcement. Children receive one-on-one instruction in environments engineered to minimize sensory overload, targeting development in communication and social interaction to better prepare them for school.
Clinic Director Melissa Hass emphasizes that the timing of these interventions is critical, noting that early enrollment remains the optimal scenario for developmental progress. Beyond direct therapy, the clinic provides diagnostic evaluations and family counseling services. CEO Mike Miller stated the expansion aims to resolve the persistent struggle families in smaller communities face when attempting to secure high-quality, specialized autism care nearby.
