At Intersolar Europe 2026, Tongwei Solar secured the Global Strategic Partner Award from TÜV Rheinland, cementing its position as a dominant force in the photovoltaic sector. The accolade recognizes the company’s sustained excellence in manufacturing, technological innovation, and its ability to maintain consistent product quality on a global scale.
The company utilized the Munich event to debut its latest TNC high-efficiency solar cell portfolio, spanning versions 1.0 through 3.0. The flagship TNC 3.0 multi-cut cell leverages specialized TPE and Poly Tech innovations to push conversion efficiency beyond 26.3%. These technical refinements offer a 10-watt power gain per module and a five-percentage-point boost in bifaciality, addressing the industry's shift toward high-output, reliable renewable infrastructure.
Tongwei Solar currently commands over 150 GW of N-type production capacity. With cumulative shipments surpassing 400 GW, the manufacturer has led global solar cell volumes for nine consecutive years. By integrating intelligent manufacturing with rigorous traceability protocols, the firm aims to sustain its lead in delivering scalable energy solutions to international markets.
