Lozar brings a dual perspective to the role, combining extensive professional experience with the lived reality of being an active-duty Marine Corps spouse. Before joining the San Antonio-based organization, she held leadership positions at Hiring Our Heroes, JPMorgan Chase, and Blue Star Families, where she focused on workforce development and economic opportunity. Her background aligns with Operation Homefront’s goal of moving military families beyond short-term crisis management toward long-term security.

Rear Admiral (ret) Alan Reyes, President and CEO of Operation Homefront, noted that her appointment is intended to strengthen the organization’s ability to deliver measurable results. Lozar’s mandate includes refining partnerships and service delivery models to better address the specific challenges that arise during military transitions. She holds a Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Child Care Aware of America.
