First Hope Bank Launches Mortgage Incentive for Local Public Servants

To mark the United States’ 250th anniversary, First Hope Bank is rolling out a specialized mortgage program for essential workers. The Hope’s Heroes initiative offers a $1,500 credit to police, firefighters, military personnel, educators, and municipal employees who apply for loans within the New Jersey bank’s service area by September 30, 2026.

The program targets residents within Warren, Sussex, and Morris counties, aiming to reduce closing costs or lower interest rates for those who strengthen the local fabric. Dan Beatty, President and CEO of the institution, framed the offer as a gesture of gratitude toward individuals who serve others. Beyond the financial credit, the bank emphasizes that the initiative showcases the benefits of community-based lending, such as local decision-making and direct access to mortgage teams.

To qualify, applicants must present the program flyer at the time of submission and finalize their loan within 60 days. The bank, which has operated since 1911, maintains its headquarters in Hope, New Jersey, and positions this limited-time offer as part of its long-standing focus on regional economic support.
