Longevity Health Secures Third 5-Star Plan After CMS Recalculation
Longevity Health Plan of New Jersey has secured a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services following a voluntary recalculation of the 2026 performance metrics. This achievement brings the company’s total to three top-tier plans, marking a consistent standard of care across Illinois, North Carolina, and New Jersey.
The CMS Star Ratings program evaluates Medicare Advantage plans based on member experience, preventive care protocols, chronic condition management, and customer service effectiveness. Plans reaching the 5-star threshold are recognized for providing the highest level of service within the federal framework. The recent adjustment applies exclusively to the 2026 cycle, with regulators yet to finalize policy directions for subsequent years.
Longevity Health CEO Ben Lerer attributed the high marks to the company’s integrated delivery model and its collaboration with skilled nursing facilities. By focusing on senior living residents, the firm manages complex medical and social needs through specialized Institutional Special Needs Plans. Currently operating in 16 states, the organization continues to leverage this clinical approach to maintain its quality benchmarks across its national portfolio.
